Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: July 2026

1. General Prohibition

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out a list of acceptable and unacceptable conduct for our Platform. By accessing or using GrowGrader, you agree to comply with this policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time without notice if we determine that you have violated this policy.

2. Platform Manipulation & API Abuse

GrowGrader heavily relies on backend APIs and external AI integrations (e.g., Google Gemini). You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Rate Limiting: Attempting to bypass API rate limits or executing Denial of Service (DoS) attacks against our grading servers.
  • AI Prompt Injection: Submitting malicious code or text specifically designed to manipulate, break, or extract the underlying prompt instructions of our AI evaluators.
  • Automated Scraping: Using bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract student profiles, task descriptions, or recruiter data without written authorization.

3. Content Restrictions

Whether you are a Recruiter posting a new task, or a Student submitting code, you must not submit content that:

  • Contains malware, trojans, or malicious scripts designed to execute on our evaluation servers.
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party (e.g., uploading copyrighted corporate codebases as assessment tasks).
  • Contains discriminatory, offensive, or harassing material.

4. Recruiter Specific Rules

Recruiters and Faculty members utilizing the platform to hire or evaluate students must:

  • Ensure that custom tasks generated via AI do not solicit free labor or consulting work from students under the guise of an "assessment."
  • Not use the platform to harvest student emails for third-party marketing lists.
  • Not share their premium account credentials with unauthorized external organizations.

5. Enforcement & Penalties

Zero Tolerance Policy

Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy will result in immediate, permanent account termination. In the case of API abuse or prompt injection attacks, GrowGrader reserves the right to seek damages and report the behavior to the relevant cybersecurity authorities. No refunds will be provided for terminated accounts.
