GrowGrader ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information when you access or use our AI-driven placement preparation and recruitment platform located at https://growgrader.in (the "Platform").

This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including Students, Faculty, Recruiters, and site visitors. By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy.

2. The Data We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device ("Personal Data"). We have collected the following categories of Personal Data from consumers within the last twelve (12) months:

• A. Identity & Contact DataIncludes first name, last name, username, email address, institutional affiliation (university/company), phone numbers, and profile pictures.
• B. Assessment & Performance Data (Core Platform Data)Includes code submissions, written answers, task completion times, AI-generated employability scores, feedback logs, and interview scheduling records.
• C. Technical & Usage DataIncludes Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types, operating system, and information about how you navigate and interact with our Platform.
• D. Financial DataFor Recruiters and Faculty, we collect payment status and transaction histories. Note: We do not store full credit card numbers. All payment processing is handled by our PCI-DSS compliant third-party processor, Instamojo.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for various operational, legal, and business purposes, including:

• Service Delivery: To create your account, provide access to dashboards, dynamically generate AI tasks, and evaluate submissions.
• AI Processing: To transmit de-identified code submissions to our AI partners (e.g., Google Gemini) for automated grading and feedback generation.
• Recruitment Matching: To share Student performance data and employability scores with authorized Recruiters and Faculty members on the platform.
• Security & Anti-Cheat: To monitor for unauthorized use, enforce academic integrity, and protect the Platform against malicious activity.
• Communication: To send transactional emails (via Resend), including interview reminders, grading notifications, and subscription renewals.

4. Third-Party Subprocessors

To provide our services, we engage industry-leading third-party service providers ("Subprocessors"). We only share the minimum data necessary for them to perform their specific functions. Our current Subprocessors include:

We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Your Rights: Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data. To exercise the "Right to be Forgotten" and permanently delete your GrowGrader account and associated assessment data, please email our Data Protection Officer at admin@growgrader.in.

6. Data Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. This includes end-to-end encryption via HTTPS/SSL, Row Level Security (RLS) in our Supabase databases to ensure tenant isolation, and strict access controls for our engineering team. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this privacy notice from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
